24 HOUR SUPPORT

We provide 24 hour support with our live-in care packages, enabling yourself or your loved one to remain in the comfort of their own home as an alternative to a residential setting. Where you can be at peace and surrounded by memories and loved ones receiving 1-1 care at a pace that meets your needs. Your live-in care worker will be available around the clock ensuring you are safe, comfortable and remain independent. They can assist you to get up in the mornings at a time you wish to wake, and if you fancy a lie-in, that is fine, they can come back in a little later.

THERE IS NO RUSH

With live-in care, unlike hourly visits, there is no rush, every task is done at a time you choose. They can support you with preparing breakfast, personal care, taking your prescribed medication, making the lunch and your evening meal. And because your live-in care worker is not watching the clock, your meals do not have to be those dreaded microwave meals either, they have all day to prepare from scratch a good home made hearty and healthy meal. Your live-in care worker can help you with any toileting requirements throughout the day, any domestic tasks around the home to save costs of a cleaner and put you to bed safely at night. All that we ask is that your home has a spare bedroom and they have a 2-3 hour rest break each day.

WE ARE HERE!

If you need someone with you for reassurance during your live-in carers rest break that family are unable to cover, then ask our team about our sitting service visits from other members of the Care with Dignity team. If you need more support than what hourly visits can give you, the reassurance of having someone with you 24 hours a day and you long for social interaction and companionship, then it sounds like live-in care is just right for you. Take a stroll in the park or by the river with your live-in care worker, put on that record and have a good sing song with them, take out that crossword and let them help you, bake those lovely treats together, cozy up and enjoy a good film with company. You do not need to be lonely, we are here!
